After exploring the tea fields in Ella, Haputale, and Nuwara Eliya, we were eager to experience the beach life again. That led us to Nilaveli Beach on Sri Lanka’s east coast. Although the best beaches are further north than Arugam Bay, the extra travel was well worth it once we reached Nilaveli Beach.
The place is stunning. The sand is a beautiful pearly white, and the water is exceptionally clear. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing beachside getaway in Sri Lanka.
